Japheth Pleasant is a graduate of Weber State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication. As a news reporter for The Sign Post at Weber State University, Pleasant possessed an extensive background in all facets of sports reporting. Later, Pleasant went on to receive his MBA, with emphasis in marketing from Westcliff University. Pleasant currently serves as a videographer/photographer for the Sports Information Department at Westcliff University, while serving as an assistant coach for the women's basketball team. In 2023, Pleasant was awarded 1st, 2nd, and 10th place at the NAIA-SIDA Digital Media Production Contest for game highlights, as well as 7th place for feature video. The following year, Pleasant was awarded 3rd and 4th place in the feature video category, while earning 6th in game highlights. As a former Division-1 athlete with 5+ years of videography and marketing experience, Pleasant has a precise understanding of various beneficial strategies to promote players and organizations through captivating production.
